About Me.................................................................

I am an artist and graphic designer living and creating in Juneau, Alaska. I grew up in Juneau and have lived in Alaska for a total of 26 years.

I attended several schools on my path to receiving my degree: the University of Alaska, Southeast- Juneau; Arizona State University; University of Alaska, Anchorage; and The Art Institute of Colorado. I received my Bachelor's Degree with honors in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2005.

I started doing freelance work while I was in school and have been working exclusively in the industry since my graduation.

About My Work.........................................................

As an artist and designer I have a very whimsical and colorful style. I am a design junky and I love pop art and popular culture. I like to blur the line between art and design and my designs focus heavily on typography, colorful illustrative visuals, and clean open layouts.

In my fine art I use colors in unusual ways and incorporate my graphic sensibilities with traditional and non-traditional media.

Nature is always my muse and I find most of my inspirations from hiking, playing, and living day-to-day in beautiful Southeast Alaska.

I am developing an illustrative style that incorporates digital work with hand work at different stages in my process. I live for the process and enjoy manipulating it. It is the process that drives my work and I am always surprised by the stand-alone qualities at every stage.
